1. To commission a pencil portrait, send me a photo via e-mail along with the size portrait you would like and any special requests you might have. I will get back to you as soon as I can with a price quote. I will also examine the photo for drawing suitability (not all photos make great artwork).
2. Next, I will have you mail me your reference photo. I will begin work as soon as I receive the picture (unless my workload is full). I require a 50% downpayment (money order or cashiers check) before the drawing is started. During the drawing process, I will keep you updated (by e-mail) on the progress of the portrait. When the drawing is completed, I will e-mail you a scanned copy for your approval. If you would like any changes made, this would be the time to let me know. When you are satisfied I will have you send me the rest of the payment (this will include the shipping and handling). When I recieve the money, I will then send you the portrait in the mail.
Tips For A Good Reference Photo
1. image should be clear and details should be visible
2. The subject should be close up (not too far away). The further the subject is, the less visible it is.
